“The merging of Seven Oaks into Partners Real Estate is an exciting new chapter for all of us,” noted Bob Voyles. “We have known John O’Neill and many of his senior partners over the course of our careers, and once approached, we each quickly realized how our respective teams complement each other in terms of skill sets, practice disciplines, and most importantly, a strong common work ethic and company culture. As founder and senior member of the Seven Oaks team, I look forward to this next career step for our entire company.”
“Combining forces with Seven Oaks represents a perfect cultural match; we have a shared appreciation for putting the client at the center of everything we do,” said John O’Neill, President and Managing Partner for the firm’s Southeast Region. “Their proven track record of success in property and asset management across office and industrial projects enables us to elevate our Investor Services platform and significantly broaden our asset management and development business across the Southeast.”
“Partners represents a transformative opportunity to amplify our impact in the commercial real estate market,” said Mr. Holmes. “By combining our expertise with Partners’ robust platform, we can deliver even greater value to our clients while continuing to foster the entrepreneurial spirit that has defined our success.”
“Merging with Partners is a natural evolution for our team, and we’re excited to be able to leverage the company’s extensive resources and regional presence to enhance our offerings and better serve our clients. We’re eager to scale our property management and development capabilities while staying true to our client-focused approach,” added Mr. Pearson.
Recent major properties and projects Seven Oaks has been responsible for include the property management for Westside Collective, a vibrant and dynamic 365,000-sq.-ft. portfolio of single-story, institutional quality, adaptive reuse office located in West Midtown, Atlanta; development of Chamblee International Logistics Center, a 238,000-sq.-ft. intown, shallow bay industrial project; adaptive reuse redevelopment of 2135 American Way, a 35,500-sq.ft. industrial building converted to creative office; and the exclusive property management assignment for New York-based Pergament Properties’ five-property, 200,000-sq.-ft. Atlanta-based office portfolio.
Other recent developments include 4004 Summit, a 360,000-sq.-ft., 16-story Class A office building in Atlanta’s Perimeter marketplace; and partnering with a REIT on Riverwood 200, a 300,000-sq.-ft. Class A office tower in the highly-sought-after Cumberland market.
Seven Oaks Company was founded in 2004 by Mr. Voyles, former Senior Vice President and Development Officer with Hines. He was joined a year later by Mr. Holmes, one of his former Hines senior team members. Together, using their varied real estate skills, they built a boutique real estate firm, focused on providing development management and asset & property management services to their many privately funded, family office, and institutional investor clients throughout the Southeast.
The team’s addition reflects Partners’ commitment to attracting the best in the industry, driving continued growth, and enhancing service offerings for clients nationwide. Professionals joining Partners appreciate that the company’s operating model drives alignment, which leads to superior client outcomes.
This announcement builds on continued momentous growth for Partners in Atlanta, underscored by several high-profile achievements. Since opening last year, the company’s Southeast base of operations is now home to nearly 50 of the industry’s most talented professionals, including the recent addition of a key valuation leader and an industry-leading retail services team.
